Anthony has spent his career solving real problems as a police officer, investigator, attorney, and small business owner.
Independent voters are the largest voting bloc in Arizona, but they have almost no representation in the legislature. Anthony Ramirez is running to change that. He’ll bring his experience as a parent, homeowner, and small business owner to the State Senate. He’ll work with both parties to deliver solutions that strengthen the community, but not caucus with either. He will vote bill‑by‑bill based on what’s fair for LD 12.
Anthony is focused on the local issues that everyone in the neighborhood is talking about: hidden tax increases, runaway utility bills, proper police funding to prevent crime from neighboring areas, traffic congestion, and unmanaged sprawl.
A former police officer, Anthony has served as a first responder in times of crisis. As a private investigator and insurance adjuster, he learned how institutions profit from misdirection and division. Today, as an attorney, he brings experience and integrity to the courtroom – delivering justice for victims and their families. He has stood against unfair policies like SB 1609 and will continue to stand for fairness, safety, and fiscal accountability in the State Senate.
For fun, Anthony is an avid skydiver, competitive ballroom dancer, and Girl Dad of a totally talented competitive figure skater.
